Pottstown Claims First Ever PAC Track & Field Title
SPRING-FORD, PA – The inaugural Pioneer Athletic Conference (PAC) Track & Field Championship saw Pottstown emerge as the first-ever team champion, racking up 129 points to outpace St. Pius X (94) and Phoenixville (91) in a highly competitive meet.
Ken Reinhart (Pottstown) delivered a dominant performance, winning both the 110m hurdles (15.4) and 300m hurdles (39.0) while contributing to Pottstown’s 1600m relay victory. His efforts helped seal the team title and earned him Meet MVP honors.
In the field events, Macy Dalton (Spring-Ford) showcased his power, claiming gold in the shot put (48’8.75″) and javelin (181’4″), with a fifth-place finish in the discus. His standout throws secured him the Field MVP award.
Other top performances included Buffy Moffatt (St. Puis X), who sprinted to victory in the 100m (11.2) and finished second in the 200m (22.9) and high jump (6’2), and Andy Tiefenthaler (Phoenixville), who won both the 800m (2:01.6) and 1600m (4:28.2).
With its first season in the books, the PAC Track & Field Championship set a high bar for future competition, as athletes and teams made history in this landmark event.
