Reynolds’ 4 Golds Leads Great Valley to PAC Championship with Strong Performances on the Track
SPRING-FORD, PA – The annual PAC Track & Field Championship saw a thrilling display of speed, endurance, and power as Great Valley surged to the team title with 102 points, fending off a determined Phoenixville squad (88 points) and a competitive Lansdale Catholic team (82 points).
Nick Reynolds of Great Valley stole the show in the sprints, securing victories in the 100m (10.9), 200m (21.8), 400m (49.3), and anchoring GV’s 4x100m relay team. Winning 4 gold medals, in a feat that highlighted his sheer dominance on the track. Duffy Swantek of Lansdale Catholic was equally impressive in the distance events, winning the 800m (1:59.7), 1600m (4:22.9), and setting a meet record in the 3200m (9:29.9).
In the field events, Pottsgrove’s Ryan Stairs made his mark in the triple jump with a winning leap of 43’0.5”, while Pottstown’s Jerry Hargrove took home two golds in the shot put (48’3.25”) and discus (153’10”), proving himself as the meet’s top thrower.
With a dominant presence in the relays and standout performances across the board, Great Valley showcased its depth and talent to claim victory at this highly competitive meet.
